Bright Beginnings Preschool

The Bright Beginnings Preschool is an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church for the families of our church and the surrounding community. We offer a safe and welcoming environment where early life skills are learned and enriched by the love of Jesus Christ through a caring Christian staff.

The Bright Beginnings program will provide opportunities for a variety of experiences through which your child will grow and develop socially, cognitively, physically and spiritually. Our curriculum allows preschoolers to laugh, sing, craft and more, while learning basic preschool principles with a Christian basis. We believe the preschool age is an important time in the life of a child. It's the time when we lay the foundation for not only learning, but for moral and biblical training as well.

We offer Full Day (8:30 am to 5:15 pm) care and Half Day
(8:30 am to 12:00 pm) care for infants and 1-3 year olds

School hours are from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Extended day is from 12:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
Early drop off is available beginning at 7:45 am if needed

4:30 - 5:00 pm	Story Time
5:00 - 5:15 pm	Gathering of Belongings
5:15 pm	Pick Up Time

* During Circle Time, we say the pledge, talk about weather, dates, sing songs, and have a short devotion. We also use this time to discuss our weekly themes.

Bright Beginnings uses Cait's Christian Preschool Curriculum. This curriculum contains age appropriate material for ages 2-5. Our preschoolers will enjoy laughing, singing, crafting, and more while learning basic preschool principles with a Christian basis. The preschool age is such an important time in the life of a child. It's the time when we lay the foundation for not only learning, but for moral and biblical training as well. Our primary goal is to make school a happy experience for each child. It is our hope that each child will feel good about himself/herself and the activities he/she experiences during the year.
